After a season long campaign St.Neots Kart racer Helen Horner has  mashed her target to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

 

Racing with Great Ormond Street Logo's on her Kart and Suit Helen has raced all over the UK as part of the televised Motors TV UK Karting Challenge.

 

Helen had asked people to sponsor a penny for every point she scored in the national championship. Initially hoping to
score 300 points, Helen completed the season with 826 points which earned her 4th place overall in the championship.Supported by an endorsement from F1 Superstar Lewis Hamilton, Helen confidently gave interviews for TV, radio and press.

Helping to raise the profile of karting and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's charity and attracting sponsors from all over the UK.

The man solely responsible for reviving F1, and possibly the world's hottest sporting star has found time to endorse Pennies for Points'. What a diamond bloke!

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. Every year, their specialist doctors and nurses care for more than 100,000 children. These children are often suffering from the rarest, most complex conditions.

 

 

 

 

Pennies for points is in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) registered charity 235825, whose aims are to raise more than £168 million over the next six years to keep the hospital at the forefront of children’s medicine.

 

 

 

Our aim is to raise money for (GOSHCC) through sponsorship for each point that Helen scores in the Motors TV UK Karting Challenge 2007.

We hope that by asking a lot of people for a small amount we can raise the total per point well into the pound figure and beyond.
 
Each round of the Karting challenge will be shown on Motors TV, so you can follow my progress throughout the year.

This site will also give up to date information on our progress throughout the year so you can see how much money we are raising per point scored.
